What it is
For each Book, a Book admin can set what data operators may do:
Backdated entries: Always allowed, Never, or Up to one day before.
Edit own entries: operators may fix entries they wrote. Deleting stays with admins.
Hide net balance and reports: operators see no balance card and no reports button.
Hide entries by other members: operators see only their own entries.
Why it helps
A cashier can record today's sales without seeing the whole picture or changing yesterday's numbers.
How to do it
- Open the Book and tap the three dots at the top for Book settings.
- Tap Data operator role.
- Pick a backdating rule and switch the other options on or off.
Good to know
- The rules apply to every data operator in this Book. Admins and Book admins are never restricted.
