Good to know

Is the expense tracker really free?

Yes. Recording and reading your own entries is free, and that is written into our Terms rather than only on this page. There is no entry limit, no trial clock and no card.

Does it connect to my bank?

No, and on purpose. MoneyBook records what you type or say. It never asks for bank credentials, so there is nothing to leak. Export to Excel any time if your accountant wants the figures.

Can I scan receipts?

You photograph the bill as you record the expense and it stays attached to that entry. Six months later the proof is one tap away, not in a drawer.

Does it work for personal expenses too?

Yes. A personal book works exactly like a business one. Many people keep a shop book and a household book side by side.
