Good to know
Is it free?
Yes. Recording and reading your own entries is free, with no entry limit, no trial clock and no card.
Can I add my own payment modes?
Yes. Cash, Bank and Credit are there to start, and you can add your own, for example a mobile wallet or a particular bank account, so each entry shows how the money moved.
Can my staff use it without seeing everything?
Yes. Access is given book by book. You can hide the running balance, hide other people’s entries, and stop backdating, so a salesman can record sales all day without seeing the day’s takings.
Does MoneyBook do sales tax?
No. MoneyBook is a ledger, not accounting or tax software: it does not calculate sales tax or file returns. If you want the sales tax amount or an invoice number next to an entry, add it as a custom field in that book (up to five per book), and export to Excel for your accountant.
Open your first book in about a minute.
No card, no sales call, nothing to cancel.
