Bookkeeping for a small business, without the accounting course.
You do not need double entry to know how the shop is doing. You need every rupee, dirham or dollar written down, and a report at month end. That is what this is.

Accounting software is built for accountants. A small business needs its records kept, correctly and daily, by the person at the counter. MoneyBook keeps the books; your accountant gets a clean Excel export at year end.
- Income and expenses, categorised, with the bill attached
- Customer and supplier balances that follow the person
- A record of who wrote every entry, written by the server
Not accounting software. On purpose.
No chart of accounts, no journals, no tax filing, no bank feeds. Those are your accountant's tools. MoneyBook is the reliable daily record they need from you, in a shape they recognise.
- Export any book as a real .xlsx file
- Day-wise, contact-wise and category-wise reports
- Recurring entries for rent, salaries and subscriptions
Your books will not be held for ransom.
Some bookkeeping apps are free for years and then lock the act of adding an entry behind a subscription. Ours says the opposite in section 4 of the Terms: recording and reading your own entries is free, and stays free.
- No entry limit, no trial, no card
- Export everything, any time
- Delete your account and the data goes with it
| At month end | You get |
|---|---|
| All entries | Every line, dated, with running balance |
| Day-wise | Closing balance per day |
| Contact-wise | Who owes you, whom you owe |
| Category-wise | Where the money went |
| Format | PDF for sharing, Excel for working |
Good to know
Is this accounting software?
No. It is a bookkeeping record: income, expenses, balances and reports. It does not file tax or do double entry. Your accountant works from the Excel export.
Is it free for a small business?
Yes. Recording and reading your own entries is free, forever, as a term of service. There is no business-size limit.
Can my accountant see it?
Invite them as a viewer on the books you choose, or send them the Excel export. Either way they see only what you allow.
Does it work in my currency?
Each book has its own currency, and amounts are stored exactly as you enter them. No conversion happens behind your back.
Open your first book in about a minute.
No card, no sales call, nothing to cancel.
