What it is
Every entry has a date and time. You can set them to the past, for example yesterday, or up to one year in the future.
Why it helps
You forgot to write something down, or you are copying an old paper register into the app.
How to do it
- Tap Cash In or Cash Out.
- Tap the Date field and pick the day.
- Tap the Time field if the time matters.
- Fill the rest and tap Save.
Good to know
- A Book admin can limit backdating for data operators: Always allowed, Never, or Up to one day before. See "Rules for data operators".
- Entries are listed by their date, so a backdated entry appears on that day, not today.
