What it is
Move entry takes the entry out of this Book and puts it in another.
Copy entry keeps it here and adds the same entry to another Book.
Copy opposite entry adds it to the other Book with the direction flipped: a Cash Out here becomes a Cash In there. That is how you record money moved from one Book to another.
Why it helps
Fix an entry saved in the wrong Book, or record a transfer between two Books in one go.
How to do it
- Open the entry.
- Tap the three dots at the top.
- Tap Move entry, Copy entry, or Copy opposite entry.
- Choose the Book it goes to.
Good to know
- You need at least two Books. Otherwise the app says "No other books".
- Only a Book admin can do this.
