What it is
MoneyBook keeps your money records on your phone. You write down every time money comes in and every time money goes out. The app adds it up for you and always shows your balance.
Money is kept in Books. A Book is like one notebook: for example "Shop sales", "Kitchen purchases" or "Household". You can have as many Books as you want.
Every line in a Book is an Entry. An Entry is either Cash In (money you received) or Cash Out (money you paid).
Why it helps
You always know how much money you have, who owes you, and who you owe. You can share a bill, print a report, and let your staff record entries while you stay in control of what they can see.
How to do it
- Create a Book for one part of your money, for example "Shop sales".
- Tap the Book to open it.
- Tap Cash In when you receive money, or Cash Out when you pay.
- Add the amount and the details, then save.
- The balance at the top updates at once.
Good to know
- A business can have a team. You choose what each person can see and do.
- Everything is saved on your phone first, so the app works without internet. It syncs to your account when you are online.
- The same account also works in a web browser on a laptop.
