Edit or delete a contact

What it is

You can change a contact's name, phone, type and opening balance. Deleting a contact removes only the contact. The entries stay in your Books.

Why it helps

Fix a wrong number or a spelling, or tidy up people you no longer deal with.

How to do it

1. Open Settings, then Parties.
2. Tap the contact.
3. Tap Edit party to change details, then save.
4. Or tap Delete and confirm.

Good to know

• Deleting needs the Manage contacts permission.
