What it is
When a business was shared with you, you cannot move its Books yourself. You can ask the admin. The admin sees the request under Book move requests and can accept or reject it.
Why it helps
The owner stays in control of where the money records live.
How to do it
- On the Books screen tap the three dots on the Book card.
- Tap Request to move book.
- Choose the business. Only businesses the same admin shared with you can be chosen.
- Send the request. Nothing changes until the admin accepts.
Good to know
- You can see your sent requests in Settings, Book move requests.
- Admins answer requests in Settings, Book move requests, or on the Business Team screen.
